An interactive website, which will provide detailed information on diabetes trends in Alberta, is soon to be launched this Spring. Health care professionals and researchers will now be able to access information such as: ‘What is the rate of emergency room encounters or hospitalizations for people with diabetes in Edmonton compared to Calgary’; ‘How many people living in Medicine Hat have diabetes’; and ‘What are the rates of people living with diabetes and also diagnosed with heart failure’.

The website will be launched in the Spring of 2011, and will be accessible from the ADSS website: www.albertadiabetes.ca
