Olympian Distance Challenge    In support of Alberta Diabetes Foundation

ADF welcomes the Olympian Swim Club as a community partner to help raise funds for diabetes research and the Olympian Swim Club's training initiative. On May 14th you will find over 150 young swimmers participating in the Olympian Distance Challenge.

As part of the Olympian Distance Challenge each swimmer will swim 200 lengths or 5km in 2 hours or less in support of both the Alberta Diabetes Foundation and the Olympian Swim Club.

The Olympian Swim Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer run, year round swim club. OSC offers programs that range from teaching young children to swim, to training elite athletes who compete at the Olympic level for team Canada.

Funds raised will be used to purchase fitness and strength training equipment for the club’s dry-land program and will also support innovative diabetes research.

Please show your support and make a pledge for one of these young swimmers.
