Calls for the province to cover the cost of diabetes supplies

September 12th, 2011 - CTV Edmonton

 

There are calls for the Alberta Government to cover the cost of insulin pumps, which allows those with diabetes to manage the disease without frequent insulin injections.


The pumps come with a cost of nearly $6,000 a year. Alberta is currently just one of three provinces that does not pay for insulin pumps...
