CDA recommends Alberta fund insulin pump program

A new report from the Canadian Diabetes Association paints a worrisome, but hopeful picture.
About 217,000 people were diagnosed with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes in Alberta last year. And, the CDA's Mike Cloutier warns that number is expected reach 363,000 by the end of the decade. That's 8.6% of the province's population, and the highest prevalence rate in the country...
