Dr. Korbutt will cover future directions for islet transplantation. Johnson is a pharmacist by training and health outcomes researcher. He is a Professor in the School of Public Health, University of Alberta and holds a Canada Research Chair in Diabetes Health Outcomes and a Senior Health Scholar award from the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research.
