Sean Fleming Golf Classic Recap

On June 1, 2011 the 22nd Annual Sean Fleming Golf Classic sponsored by Nordic Mechanical Services was held after a brief frost delay at The Links in Spruce Grove….

The sold out event was a success in every way – golfers golfed, supporters supported, volunteers volunteered and everyone in attendance had a part to play in a profit of $ 55,000 for diabetes research!

The volunteer golf committee this year worked diligently throughout the year with ADF staff to put on a great event. The committee will see some transitions this coming year as Golf Committee Chair – Garney Henley is stepping down after a very successful two year term. The remaining committee members continue to promote ADF and will continue to plan the 2012 tournament – thanks to the remaining committee members Colin Anderson, Rene Cloutier, Lisa Lutz, Mike McInnis, Kate Rieger and Vicky Schultz for all of your hard work.

Our Honorary Chair, Sean Fleming “kicked off” the event in style – down the driving range again this year to commence the tournament. Once again, Josh Classen from CTV, did an excellent job of MC while guests enjoyed a fantastic BBQ dinner.
