Once Upon a Picnic

The Alberta Diabetes Foundation would like to thank you & your family for joining us as we ventured into the magical world of Harry Potter at the Cliff Bungalow Community Hall in Calgary for an afternoon of magical delights. We had many young enthusiastic Harry Potter's partake in potions class, herbology, snitch making and the World Cup of Quidditch.

Tickets this year included admission, one authentic wizard/witch’s wand, a BBQ picnic lunch courtesy of our fire-breathing dragon and friends at Spolumbo’s, as well as games and activities for all.All proceeds from this event went directly towards diabetes research projects at the Alberta Diabetes Institute where researchers  dedicate their efforts to help find a cure for the 3 million Canadians living with diabetes (that’s 1 in 20 Albertans…many of which are children under the age of 15).
