Rock'n August is an international car show and music festival which takes place in St. Albert, Alberta each year, In 2009 the event saw over 500 classic car entries into the event and more than 50,000 people in attendance altogether, making Rock'n August one of the largest events to take place in the province of Alberta. Visitors to Rock'n August not only came from our home province of Alberta, but also British Columbia and Saskatchewan and even Washington, Idaho and Montana - truly making Rock'n August an international car show. Rock'n August is one of The Alberta Diabetes Foundations biggest annual contributors providing funding of over $250,000 over the last seven years, including a record high of over $109,000 in 2009 alone and a goal of $125,000 for 2010. The bar for 2011 has been set even higher at $150,000 to correspond with Rock’n August’s 15^th anniversary and St. Albert’s 150^th birthday.
